Terms of Service

Book Midas is operated by Two Ravens Books LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Book Midas (“Book Midas,” “we,” “us”).

Book Midas is software that manages Amazon Advertising campaigns on your behalf. Once you connect your Amazon Ads account, we create, adjust, and optimise campaigns, bids, and keywords for your books, and report on the results.

This is the important part. When you connect your account and enable management, you authorise Book Midas to create and modify campaigns that spend money from your Amazon Advertising budget on your behalf, within the limits you set.

• You set the ceiling. You define a budget limit. Book Midas operates beneath it and is designed never to exceed it.
• Two ways to stop. Pausing your titles halts advertising activity immediately but does not end management or the monthly fee. Disconnecting your Amazon account ends management, ends the fee, and deletes the access we stored.
• The spend is yours. Advertising costs are billed by Amazon directly to your Amazon account. Book Midas does not collect or hold your advertising spend.

• You are responsible for your Amazon account, your books, and your compliance with Amazon’s own policies.
• You confirm you have the right to advertise the books in your account.
• You agree to keep your budget limits set at levels you are comfortable with.

Advertising outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — your books, your market, your pricing, and Amazon’s own systems. Book Midas works to improve your advertising performance, but we do not guarantee specific sales, rankings, or returns.

Book Midas is free until you enable management by launching your first campaign. From that point Book Midas manages your account and the following fees apply:

• No fee until you launch. Nothing is charged until you enable management (Launch).
• Percentage of managed spend. 10% of the advertising spend Book Midas manages, and 5% of any managed spend above $5,000 in a calendar month.
• $49 monthly minimum. A minimum of $49 per calendar month applies while Book Midas manages your account, credited against the percentage — you pay the greater of the two, never both.
• First month free. The minimum is waived for the first full calendar month after Launch.
• The minimum is for management. It applies whether or not any spend occurred, because it is a fee for managing the account, not for spend.
• Pausing versus disconnecting. Pausing individual titles does not end management or the fee. Disconnecting ends management and the fee, and on disconnection Book Midas deletes the Amazon access it stored.
• Billed in arrears, verified. Fees are charged monthly in arrears against spend verified from Amazon’s own reports, covering only campaigns Book Midas created.
• Advertising spend is separate. Advertising spend is billed by Amazon directly to you and is not part of the Book Midas fee.
• Authorisation. By enabling management you authorise Book Midas to charge the fee to the payment method on file.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book Midas is provided “as is,” and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for advertising spend incurred within the limits you configured. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You may stop using Book Midas and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if required to protect the service or comply with Amazon’s policies. On termination, we revoke access to your Amazon account and delete associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll update the date above and notify you where appropriate. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
