Privacy Policy

Book Midas provides software that manages Amazon Advertising campaigns on behalf of book publishers and authors (“you”). Book Midas is operated by Two Ravens Books LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Book Midas. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “Book Midas” refer to Two Ravens Books LLC. Alongside that software, we also offer free tools on our website — such as the Ad Ready Audit — that anyone can use without an account; this policy covers those too.

We offer free tools — such as the Ad Ready Audit and our economics calculators — that anyone can use without an account. They read a book’s publicly available Amazon listing and return an estimate and suggestions. When you use one, we handle your information as follows:

• What you enter — the Amazon link, ASIN, or other details you paste in, so the tool can find the book and run its analysis.
• Your email (optional) — only if you ask to receive the full results. You can see the core result without giving us an email.
• A limited technical record — a one-way hashed value derived from your network address (not reversible back to you), used only to prevent abuse and keep the tools free. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on these tools.
• The tool’s output — the score, estimate, and the public listing details we read in order to produce your result.

These tools read only publicly available information from the book’s Amazon listing. They do not access any private Amazon account, sales, or royalty data. Results are estimates and our own assessment of a public listing — not statements of fact about you or anyone else. Anyone can look up any book, so running an audit does not mean we treat you as the owner of that book.

Your results are shown to you. We do not publish a public page about a book you look up, and we do not post your results anywhere. If we ever add a way to share a result, it will be something you choose to share — not something we publish on our own.

We may keep tool inputs and results to operate, secure, briefly cache, and improve the tools. You can ask us to delete tool data associated with you — for example, an email you provided — by writing to privacy@bookmidas.com.

• Account information — your name, email address, and sign-in details, handled through our authentication provider.
• Your Amazon Advertising connection — when you connect your Amazon Ads account, Amazon gives us a secure access token that lets us manage your campaigns. We never receive or store your Amazon password.
• Advertising data — campaign, keyword, spend, sales, royalty, and performance data drawn from your Amazon Ads account so we can manage and report on your advertising.
• Usage information — basic technical data (such as device and log information) needed to operate and secure the service.

• To run and optimise your Amazon advertising campaigns.
• To show you clear reporting on what your advertising is doing.
• To operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
• To contact you about your account and important service changes.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your advertising data to benefit any other customer.

Your Amazon access token is the most sensitive thing we hold, and we treat it that way. It is encrypted at rest, isolated to your account, and used only to manage your advertising. Access credentials are never written to logs or error reports. We apply least-privilege access internally and follow Amazon’s Data Protection Policy for all Amazon-derived data.

We share data only with the service providers that make Book Midas run, and only as needed:

• Amazon Advertising — to manage your campaigns at your direction.
• Our infrastructure providers — for secure hosting, database, and authentication. These providers process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
• Loops (Loops.so) — our email service provider. If you checked the optional “send me more like this” box when using one of our free tools, we share your email address and the fact that you used that tool with Loops, solely to send you optional marketing emails you asked for. We also use Loops for service and transactional emails. Every marketing email we send through Loops includes an unsubscribe link; you can opt out at any time. Loops processes data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect your Amazon Ads account at any time, which revokes our access. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by writing to privacy@bookmidas.com; we will do so promptly, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@bookmidas.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, we process your data as needed to provide the service you’ve asked for and to meet our legitimate interests in operating it securely.

We use only the cookies necessary to sign you in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Book Midas is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
